  • 3cups Basic Bold Tomato SauceOn my site or store bought
  • 1lb ground porkor beef or 1/2 and 1/2
  • 1/2cup diced onions
  • 5leaves fresh basilchopped
  • 1tsp red pepper flakesor more…
  • 1/4tsp dried oreganocrushed
  • 2tsp Bella Italian Seasoningsee post or store bought
  • 1/4tsp dried thymecrushed
  • 2 garlic cloveschopped
  • 1/2cup onionchopped
  • 1/2cup seedless Italian olivesoptional Black and green sliced
  • 2tsp coconut sugaror birch tree
  • 1/4cup olive oil
  • 1/4cup dry red bio wineoptional
  1. Begin warming up the Bold Tomato Sauce. if it was frozen give yourself a little more cooking time.
  2. Don’t forget to try out my Bella Italian Seasoning!
  3. In a frying pan cook the meat until done. I use 1/2 bio pork and 1/2 bio beef. I have to add a little ghee since there is very little fat with Bio meats.
  4. Add the rest of the ingredients EXCEPT the red wine and olive oil. Simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Right before serving add the olive oil and the dry bio red wine if using and simmer for 2 more minutes.
  6. Serve over spirals zucchini or gluten free pasta.
Recipe Notes

This Bold Bolognese can be used to make lasagna as well! It is super for served over spaghetti squash or used as a sauce over veggies. You can omit the meat and add veggies as well for a complete meatless meal!
